Shuhua (슈화) also known as Yeh Shu Hua (葉舒華) is a Taiwanese singer under Cube Entertainment. She is the vocalist, visual and maknae of the South Korean girl group (G)I-DLE.

Early life
When she was young, watching actors on the TV made her thought of becoming a celebrity one day. So she practice alone everyday, immersing in the imagination of audiences sitting in front of her while acting various situations.

K-Pop was the most popular song genre in Taiwan then. She got to know more about K-Pop as she interacted with her friends. When she was in junior high school, she set her goal to went on the road of becoming a singer. By chance, she saw HyunA’s stage and become a fan instantly. She made the decision that she must become a singer one day. With the beautiful dream of becoming a singer, she entered an art school. One day her friend said “Let’s go to Cube's Audition”. She went with them just out of curiosity but was then informed of being qualified. However, it wasn’t an easy decision for her of going abroad alone at such a young age but the thought of unwilling to be regretted was stronger than fears.

In order to fulfill of her dreams, she decided to went to South Korea. It wasn’t easy to begin her life in South Korea but her members, gave her lots of encouragements and went through lots of ups and downs with her. Now, she thanked herself a lot for not giving up then.

HER STORY

Diane Kanaleia, a girl who was born and raised in a normal family in a major capital, Jakarta. Under Pisces, precisely on March 18, 1997.

Her first name, Diane, was originally taken from the name of Roman goddess, Diana, the goddess of the hunt, forests, and childbirth. And Leia, meaning “Lioness” in a Latin name.

Her father named Harsa Birendra, an architect and obviously a hard-worker. Adhista Poetri, her mother, was a full-time housewife since she got married to her father. Her parents have been dedicated their lives in raising the three of their children and ensure that they become successful individuals in this world.

She was the third child of three. And as the youngest child in her family, it does not make her blind to the needy and become arrogant.

The eldest among her siblings was her brother, Kaisar Natadirja, a 24-year-old man. He is a civil servant. The second one was her sister, Kanya Mahira. Kanaleia was born one year after her sister, Kanya, was born. And after Kanya graduated from Diponegoro University, she decided not to take an occupation that is related with her bachelor degree.

One of Kanaleia’s favourite hobbies is cooking, although her cuisine does not taste really good but cooking has always been a good hobby for her and part of relaxing. She likes the beach too. No words can express how much she loves the feeling when the waves crash and ebb around her.

Kanaleia’s primary school life began when she was 7 years old. Luckily, she passed with flying colors. And at the age of 18, she moved to Bandung due to her school affairs. Decided to persue her dreams and continue her education at Padjajaran University, majoring in Anthropology.

This was her own decision since she was in high school. Gladly, she could adapt well and got a new companion also making some great new friends. Well, she struggled a lot but she was growing up fast and managed to bloom in an extra-ordinary world.
